I recorded this song in 2007 with Ian Aiello and then, never released it.

When I reconnected with Ian Aiello in the last year or two and we talked about working on music together I thought it might be fun to re-record the song we never released and see how it came together on a second go.

I've been trying everyday to say, I'm not a thief a liar or a sin to slave
But upon each morning when I wake I decide it's worth just one more shot
I'll shake myself into a shock. I'll make all efforts that I can just to be brave

With all these lonely songs I sing. As much a mystery to you as they are to me
No matter how I can't compete. I'll never compare with anyone but me
Dissatisfied with how I used to be. Unhappy with the place I am heading
But I won't stop I'll just keep running to be free

Stop eating from my table. Stop your saying of grace
You never were invited. It's not your place, it's not yours

You give and give force feeding your words like helium
So much I'm dizzy and confused
Your kindness is misleading autonomy won't come
It's patronizing and effused
